Something about The Mountain from “Game of Thrones” and his wife has piqued everyone’s interest.
The actor, who goes by Thor most of the time but whose real name is Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, is well-known for his portrayal of ‘The Mountain’, Gregor Clegane.
In addition to “Game of Thrones,” he has starred in films such as “Operation Ragnarok,” “The Northman,” and “Pharaoh’s War.”
Originating from Iceland, Thor stands a remarkable 6 feet 9 inches tall.
You would think that with his enormous size, he would choose a partner who is more like him.
But Kelsey Henson, who is only 5 feet 2 inches tall, was his companion of choice.
People are naturally fascinated about how they handle basic gestures of intimacy, such as kissing, given their notable height difference.
To be honest, the question is quite logical.
Henson was asked during a recent Instagram Q&A session:
“What is the kissing technique? Do you always throw yourself into his arms and put your legs around his waist? Kindly share a photo of this amazing feat.
“Ah, he bends, I tiptoe,” was her direct response. Or simply say, “Screw it, come get me!”
It’s really as easy as that.
Thor posted a beautiful wedding day snapshot of himself embracing his bride with ease. The couple was married in October 2018.
He stated: “It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!”
“I get to spend the rest of our lives with this lovely woman, through thick and thin! I can’t wait for all of the experiences we will go on together in the future.”
The loss of their daughter Grace in November 2023 has unfortunately put the pair through some difficult moments lately.
When she was 21 1/2 weeks old, she was stillborn.
On Instagram, Thor said, “After a noticeable decrease in movement, we found out her heart had stopped beating.” This was heartbreaking news.
Words cannot express how happy we are to be able to spend time with our daughter or how sad we are to have lost her.
“With her golden brows and lashes and a small smile for her parents, she is stunning. We are so incredibly in love with her.
“The grief we feel will be with us forever, but so will the love.”
Their second child was named Grace. Stormur, the couple’s kid, is three years old.
Thor and his ex-girlfriend also have a daughter, Theresa Líf.
